About THE BONEYARD
Our Story
The Boneyard is a repair shop specializing in trombone repair started over 30 years ago by bass trombone player John Sandhagen.
John has a BA in Music from Cal State Los Angeles and worked as the Instrument Repair technician for Cal Poly Pomona for over 23 years.
John has repaired instruments for members of the LA Phil, studio players and touring musicians. John also provides services for many local colleges, out of state and international clients.
John also plays Bass Trombone for the Riverside City College Monday Night Band, The Claremont Symphony, The Jack Lantz Big Band, in addition to having a quintet that rehearses weekly.
